- The LaunchIt self-publishing process is free of cost; however, clients pay for our service fees to perform actions on their behalf with their consent.
- We are an independent vanity publishing company offering self-financed book publishing, marketing, and related author services.
- We do not operate under a traditional, hybrid, or royalty-based publishing model.
- All services are fee-based, and authors retain complete ownership and control of their work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Scope of Services
We provide professional services that may include, but are not limited to:
- Manuscript editing, formatting, and book design
- ISBN assignment, copyright registration, and distribution setup
- Online and print publishing assistance
- Book marketing, website creation, and promotional campaigns
- Author branding and consultation services
Each project is executed according to a signed proposal or work order outlining the agreed services and fees.
3. Payment Terms
- All payments are processed through our assigned payment partner or trusted merchant provider.
- Clients agree to pay the full amount stated in the invoice or service agreement prior to project initiation unless a payment plan is approved in writing.
- Payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and authorizes us to begin project execution.
- Any declined or reversed payment will result in a temporary hold on all services until the issue is resolved.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
To ensure fairness and protect project resources, the following refund policy applies:

5. Chargeback Policy
By purchasing our services, you agree to the following chargeback terms:

- Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider after project commencement is considered a breach of contract.
- If a chargeback is filed without valid grounds, the Company reserves the right to:

- The Author agrees to cooperate promptly with project managers and respond to required approvals or content submissions within agreed timelines.
7. Intellectual Property
- Authors retain 100% ownership rights to their manuscript and creative content.
- The Company retains the right to use cover images, book titles, or materials for marketing, testimonial, or portfolio purposes unless the Author opts out in writing.
- The Author grants the Company a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use materials strictly for fulfilling publishing or marketing tasks.
8. Service Delivery Timeline
- Project timelines vary depending on service type and scope.
- Estimated completion times are provided as good-faith projections, not guarantees.
- Delays caused by client inaction, incomplete materials, or third-party dependencies may result in adjusted deadlines.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use or project outcomes.
- We do not guarantee book sales, rankings, or commercial success of published works.
- Liability for any direct damages is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project.
10. Confidentiality
- Both parties agree to keep all confidential and proprietary information private.
- Client data and manuscript content are not shared with external parties except as required for service fulfillment.
- Employees and contractors are bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
11. Marketing and Advertising
- The Author acknowledges that marketing outcomes may vary and depend on multiple factors beyond the Company’s control.
- All advertising and promotional activities follow Google Ads and other applicable platform policies regarding pricing, accuracy, and user data.
- We commit to transparency and ethical representation of all marketing claims.
12. Data Privacy
Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy & Transparency Policy, which complies with Google Ads, GDPR, and CCPA standards.
We do not sell or misuse personal data.
13. Termination
- The Company reserves the right to terminate services in the event of non-payment, policy violations, or unprofessional conduct.
- Upon termination, any unpaid balance becomes immediately due, and no refunds apply for services rendered or in progress.
